The Mary Ann Shadd Cary Centre for Journalism and Belonging is based at Carleton University’s School of Journalism and Communication. It is the first Canadian institution with a focus on supporting more diversity and inclusion in Canada’s journalism industry. I was thrilled to work with the Centre’s founder Nana aba Duncan once again! Our collaboration focused on the design and development of a website to showcase the Shadd Cary Centre’s history, resources and ongoing initiatives. The design prioritizes accessibility and user-centric design to create an immersive online experience that resonates with visitors.
