Booklet design for a small business enterprise centre
In collaboration with the St. Catharines Enterprise Centre, I crafted a visually engaging and accessible design for their Small Business Starter Kit booklet. This resource, designed to support new and growing businesses, is made available both online and in print, reaching entrepreneurs directly where they need it most.
This project not only aimed to provide practical guidance but also to reflect the Enterprise Centre’s role as a trusted resource for entrepreneurs in St. Catharines and the surrounding area, enhancing the booklet’s utility as a comprehensive tool for business development.
The Small Business Starter Kit went on to receive a national marketing award from the Economic Developers Association of Canada, recognizing its clarity, accessibility, and impact for local entrepreneurs.

Crafting a User-Friendly Layout for Entrepreneurs
The 12-page booklet uses the Centre’s vibrant blue and green brand colours to create a cohesive, approachable feel. With a layout that combines clear typography, strategic use of icons, and engaging visuals, the design ensures that complex topics, such as market research, brand development, and hiring, are presented in a user-friendly way. Each section is thoughtfully organized to guide readers through key areas of business planning, while call-to-action elements encourage them to connect with the Centre for further support.
