Connected websites for climate storytelling, journalism, and academic research
The Climate Leadership Story Hub and Aphrodite Salas researcher website were developed as two interconnected WordPress websites designed to support public storytelling, academic research, journalism, and collaborative initiatives.
The project involved the design and development of a dedicated platform for the Climate Leadership Story Hub alongside a professional website for Aphrodite Salas, an award-winning journalist, professor, and researcher. While each website serves a distinct purpose, they were designed to work together as a cohesive digital ecosystem, making it easy for visitors to explore stories, research, publications, partnerships, media, and ongoing initiatives.
Two websites, one connected digital presence
The Climate Leadership Story Hub was created as a space to share stories, research, and perspectives related to climate leadership. The website required a flexible content structure capable of supporting long-form storytelling, multimedia content, project information, partner acknowledgements, and new initiatives as the project continues to grow.
Aphrodite’s researcher website provides a central home for her academic and professional work, bringing together research activities, publications, journalism, media appearances, presentations, partnerships, and collaborative projects within an easy-to-navigate platform.
A key objective was ensuring that the two websites felt visually connected while maintaining distinct identities suited to their respective content and audiences. A cohesive visual language and thoughtful information architecture help visitors move naturally between Aphrodite’s individual work and the broader Climate Leadership Story Hub, while flexible WordPress content systems allow both websites to continue evolving over time.
